| The New York Rangers agreed to terms with restricted free agent forward Dan Fritsche on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old Fritsche had 10 goals and 12 assists in 69 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets last season.
The 6-foot-1, 206-pounder had 29 goals and 34 assists in 206 career games with Columbus.
The Parma, Ohio, native was originally Columbus' second-round choice, 46th overall, in the 2003 draft...Continue |

| Longtime Vancouver Canucks captain Markus Naslund agreed to terms Thursday with the New York Rangers on a two-year deal.
Naslund, who scored 25 goals and added 30 assists last season, leaves Vancouver after 12 seasons - including eight as captain.

| Just as the New York Rangers ushered in the Markus Naslund era on Broadway, they turned out the lights on the Jaromir Jagr show.
Naslund, the longtime Vancouver Canucks captain, agreed to terms Thursday with New York on a two-year deal worth $8 million.

| The Philadelphia Flyers and Jeff Carter agreed to a multiyear contract Friday, only days before the center was set to become a restricted free agent.
The 23-year-old Carter was taken 11th overall by the Flyers in the 2003 draft and he has 66 goals and 132 points in 225 career games.
