Rangers agree to terms with Fritsche

The New York Rangers agreed to terms with restricted free agent forward Dan Fritsche on Tuesday. The 23-year-old Fritsche had 10 goals and 12 assists in 69 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets last season. The 6-foot-1, 206-pounder had 29 goals and 34 assists in 206 career games with Columbus. Longtime Vancouver Canucks captain Markus Naslund agreed to terms Thursday with the New York Rangers on a two-year deal. Naslund, who scored 25 goals and added 30 assists last season, leaves Vancouver after 12 seasons - including eight as captain. Naslund, the longtime Vancouver Canucks captain, agreed to terms Thursday with New York on a two-year deal worth $8 million. Flyers sign C Carter to multiyear deal

The Philadelphia Flyers and Jeff Carter agreed to a multiyear contract Friday, only days before the center was set to become a restricted free agent. The 23-year-old Carter was taken 11th overall by the Flyers in the 2003 draft and he has 66 goals and 132 points in 225 career games.
